AJAX is a long awaited solution to the troublesome Client / Server Application Architecture. AJAX; specifically ZK brings forth a new paradym of possibilities to applications which allows techniques that were traditionally only able to be accomplished using heavyweight UI components.

 

 

  • Server Push is one example of this technology. The ability to push data to a subscribed web client without interaction is a powerful capability.
  • Excel like interfaces allow for mathematical and analytical analysis to be displayed outside of a workstation's application tier. Users can share, collaborate, and interface with live data in real time.
  • Dashboards can be driven off real-time data using server-push and charts. This allows users to gain a better insight of the realm for which they are interested in.
